What’s trending today: Letting you know what’s up with your Twitter feed

#1 Preview Ball: The Preview Best Dressed Ball 2012 (an event hosted by  Preview magazine, a product of the Philippines) is tonight, and obviously anyone who’s anyone already knows what they’re wearing.  The theme this year being “Athletic Chic”, the guys have it easy for this one, so we’re expecting to see some serious sports jackets, jersey, lycra, and our personal favorite, spandex.

#2 Wion: Not referring to the radio station, Wion is really an abbreviation for “Who Is On Next?” a Vogue Italia-exclusive fashion show this morning at 11:30am with the aims of helping budding Italian designers.  The event takes place at the Palazzo Morando and is attended by top fashion personnel such as Anna Wintour (American Vogue), Anna Dello Russo (Vogue Japan), Teresa Missoni, Gucci creative director Frida Giannini, and Franca Sozzani (Vogue Italia).

#3 Agnieszka Radwanska: If that seemed like a mouthful, don’t worry, we were busy consulting our pronunciation dictionaries for hours on this one.  Although she was relatively unknown (at least to this side of the world,) Radwanska is a Polish professional tennis player ranked 3rd in the world.  Today she faced off against American Serena Williams in the finals at Wimbledon, loosing respectively in the 1st and 3rd sets.

#4 Tessie Singson: Another unknown for us in the U.S.A., Singson is a fashion icon in the Philippines who doesn’t “do trendy”, looks for “unique pieces”, and is the epitome of a classy woman.  She is a guest of honor at Preview’s Best Dressed Ball (See above).

#5 Serena Williams: After winning her 5th Wimbledon title, this tennis all-star is living the dream as being ranked No. 1 in the world, and making a name of herself separate, and just as successful as her competitor and sister Venus Williams (who has also won the prestigious title five times).  Serena proved herself in a tough match up with Polish pro Agnieszka Radwanska.
