What’s trending today: Letting you know what’s up with your Twitter feed

#1 Cookie Monster: The Sesame Street legend went viral once more, with a chart-topping  scrumptious parody of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe”, known as “Share it Maybe” which has inspired us to have a few baked goods with our lunch today.

#2 080 BCN: It’s time for 080 Barcelona Fashion Week in Spain! Running from the 10th (that’s today) through the 13th of July, this fashion week is sure to turn heads and spark trends that may just go international.  This year, designers such as Alexis Reyna, Brain&Beast, Celia Vela, and Gori de Palma, just to name a few, will be rocking the runway, so if you have some free time, stalking youtube for their collections would be a good use of your time on this hot summer day.

#3 Kristen Wiig: After her recent exeunt from the Saturday Night Live stage, Wiig is finally opening up about the adorable romance between her and Fabrizio Moretti, (the drummer for the Strokes.) She’s happier than ever, and she is excited for her upcoming movies and just getting around to living the rest of her life.  We love ya Kristen!

#4 Cedar Rapids: The pres. is paying this Iowa town a visit today, so if you’re in the area, it’d be a great opportunity to meet the leader of the free nation!

#5 Channel Orange: Channel Orange is the latest album from Def Records by fresh face Frank Ocean.  It’s “avant-R&B”, serving as a harmonious urban 80’s glimpse into southern California.  The debut album pulses with electro-soul grooves, retro jazz-funk, while featuring A-list names such as John Mayer and Andre 3000.
